This is a personal decision, but women age faster than men, and most men date girls 1, maybe 2 years younger than them while in college.

A common approach seems to be, step 1: graduate. Step 2: marry college sweet heart. Step 3: 20 years later, divorce for a younger, more virile spouse model.

Shouldn't you just mess around for 20 more years and then find your wife? Seems like a better financial decision.

Or am I just way too shallow?

  I think, in this case, it is problem with woman, not financial decision. So, what will you do for those twenty years without women? Maybe keep money for future wife

Not too common, my dear... Love is something that hasn't lost its value, or at least, not yet in my surrounding... It doesn't matter how you look like, everybody gets old eventually, but what kind of person you are... I personally would never spend twenty years with someone who would run away with some slut who is twenty years younger than him, only because she looks better than me... She didn't make him coffee in the morning, she didn't cook for him, she didn't take care of him while he was ill, she didn't cheer him up when he had his downs, she didn't warm him up when he felt cold, and, despite that, he left his caring and responsible wife who LOVED him, and went away with the prettier, more good-looking, more attractive bitch. This must hurt. And you are shallow.
